Leaving Konya at 8:30 on a warm Tuesday morning, our Fulbright group on the minibus driven by Baki, headed to Antalya, a resort town on the Mediterranean. We crossed the 300-mile mountain chain, the Taurus Mountains, ascending to 4,200 m.
I am a lifelong resident of Chesapeake, VA. We have a population of approximately 219,000 with a median resident age of 34.7 years. Located on the VA-NC border, Chesapeake remains largely rural. Our schools are 100% fully accredited with approximately 39,000 students. I supervise gifted education in Chesapeake Public Schools.
